RS-232 OpenComConfig error -2

Hi there. Running fp OpenComConfig interactively, I always get error -2 (invalid port number) on WinNT, with COM1 or COM2. Same thing happens running serial.prj on example of CVI. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

The first thing to check is if the serial ports are working. You can use Hyper terminal to do a loop back test on the ports.
