Received CVI 8.1 yet and when?

Wanting to know if others have received their LabWindows/CVI 8.1 CD yet and if they have, about when did it arrive?

** it may likely arrive during Christmas Break at work this week, and was just wondering about when others had theirs delivered **

Hi Sid,

These have all ready been shipped out.  If you haven't received it yet, you can contact your Inside Sales Representative at 800-433-3488.  They will be able to give you specific information on where your 8.1 CD is.

That is what I was afraid of because the email notification of its release was a month or so ago and saw others talking about it on here, etc...

I also sent an email to my NI Sales Rep yesterday and hope to hear back soon (realizing it may have been misplaced or delivered to the wrong address as happened in years past).

Hi Sid,

That reminds me.   If you have a valid CVI Full 8.1 license, you can go ahead and download the Evaluation copy of CVI 8.1 from this link: CVI 8.1.  You should then be able to activate it with your current serial number.  If you have a CVI Base license, you can still install the Evaluation to see the new features and when you receive your 8.1 CD, you can then uninstall the Evaluation.  Let me know if you have any questions.
