Scrolling Panel Limitation

Hi

I got a problem and please tell me it can be solved.

I see that there is a limit on how much a panel can scroll, is there a way to increase it or an update for Labwindows/CVI to make this greater?

What i got is alot of child panels about 400 each one has a height of 170. I display the beneath each other.

The problem is that i can only scroll to about child panel 192 then the rest are not there.

I need a way to display the child panels as above.

Is this possible?

Hi Shako,

just a guess: The maximum panel height is 32767 so I could imagine that also the 'virtual" panel size is limited to this number. You could check it by doing a calculation using your child panel heights times 192: is your child panel about 170 pixel high...?

My child panels height are 170 pixels.

Is there a way to increase the parent panel virtual size to greater than 32767 ?

Hit the mark Smiley Very Happy

How many child panels do you need to show simultaneously? Couldn't you just place them all on top of each other and then adjust visibility and / or z-plane position?
