After messing around with alias bounding (and creating some) I can't config some port that shows that resources are used. I don't see those alias. Thus, I can't delete them. Here is a message example that pop up when I try to configure: The alias "COM3" is already bound to resource "ASRL18::INSTR". Of course I can't (or I don't know how to) release ASRL18. Thanks for any help.

Howdy BSA,

This error should be fixed by unplugging your serial card and starting MAX to clear all the resources.  Please let me know if this fixes your problem so I can create a document to help other customers with this issue.  Thanks!

Had similar problem with alias, but was not able to clear resourses as adviced, later found in MAX how it can be changed - navigate to Mysystem->Software->NI VIsa, then on the right click on "Aliases" and on the buttom click on "VISA Options" - you'll see all aliases resourses and should be able Edit, Add or Clear - see image.
