Timer() function errors.

I've recently upgraded to CVI 5.5 (NT) and found that the Timer function seems
to roll incorrectly and is causing major problems. I've read about an old
problem where it take 41 days or so but this happens sooner and appear random.

In the debug mode, one Timer () call returns 86 then the next call would
return 8590648 (only after a few minutes). Subsequent calls are correct
based on the return value from second call.
I think this may bug may have been around in earlier versions but I just
never caught it (but wierd things I've been seeing now make sense).
Has anyone seen this problem?

Thanks,
John Boro

Hi John,

If you need to work with timers in cvi, you'd better use the
C:\CVI\toolslib\toolbox\asynctmr.fp library which is more precise.
