To address your printing query, I have seen similar types of issues surface before. In nearly every case, it is an issue with the driver. I opened up the stripchart example program that ships with CVI and dropped a control and callback into it to print the panel in BW mode. We have several printers here, and I did not encounter a problem on any.
Likely, you will merely need to update the driver for your particular printer and it will solve the problem. If this solution does not work for you, I would suggest writing back in to us here at support@ni.com. Include all the necessary information about the ve
rsion of CVI you are using as well as your exact printer type and driver version. If possible, we will try to replicate the behavior that you are observing.
I feel confident, though, that this will be solved by contacting your printer vendor for the most recent version of your printer driver.
