VI Logger wont log 2 channels simultaneously?

Using VI Logger 1.0 with a DAQPad MIO-16XE-50 DAQ box on Win2K with
NI-DAQ 6.9.1f28, trying to setup VI Logger to log 2 of the
analog input channels in one or two logger tasks.

I setup two virtual analog input channels.

I can log either one by itself in a log task.

but if I enable both channels, they wont log.

or if I start one logging in one task, then try to start another
task logging the other, it wont log.

always get an 'internal error' type message box and tasks
are aborted, though I can restart them.

for 1000$, this VI Logger program is starting to seem a
little unfinished imho.

Hi,

Can you please check the following KnowledgeBase (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/3efedde4322fef19862567740067f3cc/2e0602c3a4074b6a86256a68004f05fe?OpenDocument) "...You cannot run two tasks at one time in VI Logger if the tasks use the same data acquisition device. You can run two tasks at one time if you are using two different devices.
..."

RamziH.

I understand this limitation, but I cant even log 2 channels in
the same task from the same device.

So far, I cannot get VI Logger 1.0 to handle more than one channel per
task,
using a DAQPad-MIO-16XE-50 and NIDAQ 6.9xx.
