What is the lastest version of word function calls does cvi support?

This question may have been asked before.  What is the latest version of word function calls supported?   Does cvi support word/excel 2007, word/excel 2010 , word/excel 2013?   On the same thread can i create a power point presentation from CVI? 

I know in the past i've created both word and excel reports.  My employer is asking will it also create power points.  If so any examples?

I have not seen this done for CVI but I believe for all Microsoft functions such as this you would use ActiveX to call the Word, Excel, and possibly powerpoint ActiveX classes.
