Where is the activation code of current version?

Hello all,

I always have problems with licenses... I just installed CVI 2019. It wasn't in the 'New products or updates' of the updater so I was tired of waiting and I downloaded it from ni.com.

Now for the activation I have a site license for all NI products, and I've been told to just reuse the activation code I got for CVI 2017. But I can't find this code. I seem to recall with previous versions it was available in the activation manager and/or MAX/Software, but I cannot find it.

OK, I got it. One minor module of CVI 2017 was displaying its serial number in the license manager. I used it on CVI 2019 and it worked on the entire stack. I must say the process if far from straightforward or obvious.
