While using RamDisk LabWindows/CVI requests reactivation

Good Day,

I would like to edit my projects on a RamDrive because it got a little bit larger in the meantime, searching etc. needs now an amount of time when searching the whole code files.

The problem is, if I load the RamDrive, before starting LabWindows CVI (Which is normally the case as I always load after systemstart), LabWindowsCVI wants to get activated.

My question is: If I would start CVI later on without the RamDisk, would I have to reactivate it again? How many activations can I perform totally?

I did for example switch to a newer computer one year ago - so I had to activate CVI. Then I had to install an other InterfaceCard, and I think I had to reactivate again.

May I get problems with the time?

Yours sincerly

Thomas M.

Hi Thomas,

are you sure that CVI is correctly activated? In order to check can you give me your serial number?

Thanks,

Giuseppe.
