Why F12 has the same effect like CTRL+F12 (break debug) ?

Any Ideas ? thanks david.

The F12 key is not assigned to any function in the CVI environment. If you are seeing F12 break your application (without holding down CTRL), I couldn't explain why this is happening. Do you have F12 assigned as a "Hot Key" for something in your program?

I tried this on 2 machines and couldn't reproduce it. I talked to our CVI developer's about it, and one of them has seen this occur on his system. We can't tell yet why this is occurring. CVI doesn't have any code in it to handle the F12 key and it isn't calling our Ctrl-F12 break section. They will continue to see if they can determine the cause, but so far it looks like a strange anomally only occurring on some systems and we can't tell why.

I'm sorry if this seems a joke: it's not.
In my machine, sometimes it happens that the Ctrl key appears as if it were pressed even if it's not. I fund that simply hitting both Ctrl keys several times fixes the abnormal behaviour. I suppose this depends on the keyboard itself, an old IBM keyboard with a good mechanic feel and click on the keys (but really a bit suffering from age), better than the modern ones with soft touch and a bad felling while typing...
