Why the daq library is not installed?

I recently had to reinstall CVI (version 5.5), however, it did not install the daq library. I tryed checking the Daq box on library options and it was already checked. Any ideas?

CVI doesn't install the DAQ library since the DAQ library files change with each version of the NI-DAQ driver software. You need to re-run NI-DAQ setup. You can run it from Start->Programs->National Instruments->NI-DAQ->NI-DAQ Setup. Then re-install the NI-DAQ for CVI files. If that doesn't work (it should work), then uninstall and re-install NI-DAQ.
