about discrete tests.

Hi....

Am doing one program, In that i am checking the output port by verifying the each  single line ID in the test panel.my question is that can i able to check entire port itself(in the test panel we are having output port3,4,5, each port having 8 line IDs),because by checking each line ID ,it takes more time....can u give any suggestion. I am using discrete NI 6527 DAQ in my PC.

If you are using LabWindows CVI there are examples that show you how to read or write from a digital port rather than each line individually. If you go to Help>>Find Examples>>Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx>>Digital Measurement>>ReadDigPort.prj, or Help>>Find Examples>>Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx>>Digital Generation>>WriteDigPort.prj. I hope those help.
