aquiring delay time of my USB 6221?

Hi guys,

i want to know my delay time of my device. I output a digital Signal which I can change on the fly but I don't know how fast my device is working.

I want to see  Output Signal on a Strip Chart in exactly the same time as my device is outputting the signal. Is this possible?

No... Smiley Wink There will always be delays involved, caused by hardware, software, and operating system. So the question is 'how similar is still good enough'? The most accurate solution is to omit software and use a fast hardware - why not inspect your signal on a scope?

I agree there will always be signal. If i connect my output signal directly to my input will there be a big different and how can i measure it. How do i measure it with a scope

Hi Leee,

i agree with Wolfgang.

I don't know any possibility to diplay the delay easily.

If you detect the hit of the start key and the output signal on the scope?

Regards,

Philipp
