Can the NIDMM soft front panel be used with a 3rd party dmm if there is a ivi driver for the dmm?

Hi tony123,

Thanks for posting. The NI-DMM Soft Front Panel (SFP) is an application built on the NI-DMM driver. It therefore will NOT be able to talk to any third party hardware, even if an IVI driver is available.

You will however be able to program your third party DMM in LabVIEW using either the IVI DMM driver functions or those installed by the IVI driver for that specific DMM.
