cannot close application?

I have an application that allows the user to call and open different windows (other vi's).  When no window or vi is called then i can close the applciation by right clicking on the application instance on the task bar and selecting close.......however when another window is called then I cannot do this, right clicking on the applciation instance in thaskbar does nothing....how can i fix this?

it depends: it may be a CVI application acting like a VI manager. in this case, the question is related to this forum... (the problem being with the manager, not the VIs)
