Currently i have a project which was developed under NT4. I want to know if is necessary to modify the sources files of the project if I carry it to Windows2000?

Si c'est du code source dont vous parlez vous n'etes pas obligé de modifier votre programme. EN revanche si c'est un executable, il vous faut le recompiler.
