clearing recently used sequences from FILE menu in test executive

Hi

Could anybody help. I am using test executive with LabWindows CVI and created an executable for a test program that i do not want to change.

The customer has requested that we clear the recently used sequence list in the FILE menu as it contains old sequence versions in the list which is confusing operators. Is there anyway to clear the recently used sequences without recompiling the code and creating a new test executive window.

Hi,

Are you using Teststand or just the CVI test executive?

I think that you should be able to clear these entries by clearing out data from the registry, its just a case of finding the correct key.

I've found two knowledge base entries that relate to CVI (the development environment) and the Teststand sequence editor that show how this can be done for this type of menu under these environments.

I would imagine that where your executable is stored on the machine, it will have a relevant registry key for this information. Before changing anything in the registry though, I would advise making a backup in case you delete the wrong information.
