compatibility between labview 7 8

Hello,

I would like to open programs saved in LV8. But I only have LV7 installed, and i ve got an error message : an error occurs loading x.vi... VI version (8.2) is newer than LV version (7.1.1)

Is there a patch or an addon which could solve my problem??

hello laurent,

there is no patch to convert the VIs down. you can save the VIs back to the previous version of LabVIEW. if you open them i.e. in LabVIEW 8.2 you can save them back to 8.0.

then you need LabVIEW 8.0 in order to save them to 7.1.
