Could you please give me some more information about what your application will be doing here?
For example, are these text files going to be at a network location and you will simply be writing a CVI program to move them to your personal computer?
Or possibly they are on a computer and you are wanting to transfer them to another computer on the LAN (in which case a TCP communicator might be the best solution).
Also, which version of LW/CVI are you using? Base development or Full?
