cpu load with datasocket CVI 5.5

I wonder if there is some "optimization" technique in using datasockets (CVI 5.5)under XP sp2. My server collects data from one channel of an A/D card (AT MIO 16 E10) at 250 Hz (task manager shows 8% CPU load) and works without problems; when datasockets are used to write data, the server presents a 100% CPU load and after 1 minute of regular acquisition and datasocket writing (and cliet reading), it stops in overrun.
Any kind of suggestion is very, very appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
one thing that needs to be said upfront is that 6.0 is the first CVI version that is officially supported under Windows XP.
With this being said, I could try to look at your code and see if there is some programming issue therein. Just post a simple example that shows the problem.
