cvirte.dll intermittently error messages

We've been expeirencing on going issues with random crashing when it seems like "mouse or clicking" movement has occurred (5 yrs and counting). I'm looking to resolve these problems ASAP.

Error messages such as:

Error signature------------------------------------

AppName: Operator interface.exe                                  AppVer: 4.0.0.326  ModName:cvirte.dll

ModVer: 9.0.1.375    Offset: 0038e11a

Does any of this information mean anything to N.I support? I performed some searches on error messages without too much luck regarding my experiences. Please contact me for further details. I'll be checking the message board in regards to this thread.

Thanks in advance,

ERTW

Hi ERTW,

To help you troubleshoot, we will need some additional information about your system:

1. Does it occur after clicking a certain amount of times, or in a certain location?

2. Does the crash always occur when you run the application?

3. You had mentioned that the crash was random.  Just to clarify, do you see the error in the same location, about the same amount of time in program, or perhaps after executing a certain task or clicking a certain button?

4. Is there anything else to the error message?  Who generates this message (e.g. is it a Windows error, etc?)  Can you post a screenshot for us?

5. What operating system are you on?

6. From the name of the application, it looks like you may be working with TestStand.  Is this the case?

7. Are you running this from the development environment?

8. When the application crashes, does anything else aside from the error message occur (e.g. does the environment disappear, does it hang, can you continue?)

Cheers,

Hello Kelly R, thanks for the questions. At this time I'm currently speaking to a N.I specialist "Glenn" via emails and phone to resolve the issue. If I may take your questions into account and answer them to Glenn instead - just to save on time and your support, so you may help others out? However, if we want to approach this with dual support I will answer them here. Let me know, Thanks ERTW.
