Dear all,
I am trying to use the data acquisition toolbox in Matlab with the NI Hi-speed USB carrier NI USB-9162. The device succeeded in the tests of Measurements & Automation explorer. However, when I define the device with the classical data acquisition toolbox function ("AI=analoginput('nidaq','Dev1')"), I get an error saying that no 'nidaq adaptors are installed'. It seems that only the winsound adaptor is installed when I type "daqhwinfo". Can someone tell me how I can get the nidaq adaptor? I am working with the following versions:
-Matlab 2010b Version 7.11
-Data acquisition toolbox 2.17
-NI-DAQmx 9.3.5.
Thank you for you help!

Hello Gilles,
Thanks for posting this question!
The NI USB-9362 and the NI Measurement & Automation Explorer are indeed products from National Instruments.
Matlab or the Data Acquisition Toolbox for Matlab are however not made by National Instruments and therefor we can unfortunately not resolve your issue with Matlab.
These are products made and supported by Mathworks so you should try to contact them regarding regarding technical issues with their toolbox.

If it's Win 7 or Visat, try starting MATLAB in admin mode. Right click on MATLAB icon and select run as admin
