That's really a good hint! You should post it in CVI Idea Exchange and I will kudo it immediately! 

It is to be said that LV is NI flagship and is always one step ahead of other products. There can be some ways to remote a CVI panel but nothing built-in: I suppose lots of CVI users would benefit for a native utility like that.

An idea already exists for this on the Idea Exchange with several Kudoes. You should go ahead and add your kudoes as well. I would also suggest posting any comments you have to better define what sort of behavior you would expect from this feature.
