LINK. Another option is to use VISA commands. You should be able to set up your printer port and specify a resource name for your printer port in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). Also, a tidbit of information that you may find when browsing through those parallel port resources is that I believe these ports are set up to have 8 output lines and only 5 input lines. These input lines however, are generally used as status lines, but you can still use those for norm
al input lines.
