how to show function prototype

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

if I type a function in the CVI editor, a popup appears with the function prototype, as I type the "(" bracket. This is very useful, but it works only if I type the complete function. If I jump to another line, then back to the function, it doesn´t show the prototype anymore. For this I have to go to the bracket, delete and type it new. Then appears this help again.

Is there a quick way, for example shortcut, which shows this help, or I have to type the bracket each time, when I need the prototype?

I believe you are looking for this shortcut: ctrl+shift+space.
