labview 6.i and labwindows/CVI 7.0

I want to install evaluation version of LabWindows/CVI 7.0 and I allready have LabView 6.i installed on my windows xp machine. According to the readme file I have to uninstall certain components if I have LabView 7.0 before I install LabWindows. Does those requirements apply to LabView 6.i as well?

That requirement only applies if you have beta versions of the software listed: LV 7, MStudio 7, etc. You do not have to uninstall LV 6i.
