labwindows 2.2 library functions not found.

I need to maintain an old test system. It uses labwindows 2.2 and Microsoft C++ 7.0 (circa 1993). Nether the linker nor I can find the following functions.
_SCAN_Op, _AI_Config, _SCAN_Demux, _DIG_Prt_Config, _Time_Str, _AI_Read, _ScanIn, _Timeout_Config, _DIG_Out_Line, _ReadLine, etc.

I have used grep on and pointed the compiler to the files in the following directories \LW\LIBRARY, \LW\INCLUDE, \NIDAQDOS\Lib (nidaq 4.6.1f5), \NIDAQWin95\Lib (nidaq 5.1) with out resolving the missing functions.

I have tried every thing I can think of.

What do I do now?

Thank You

Ed Benjamin

I used to write in that version, however, the files have long snce dissapeared. Earliest I have now is 3.1 LW..
Sounds like the daq version is too modern. Except for the _ReadLine call. I do know that the SCAN_OP was fairly new in 1993 if it existed at all.
Let me know how I can help. Is it possible to update the software and substitute the calls with new ones?? Might take awhile, but be worth it.

Hi:
Thanks for your offer of help. As it happens i solved the problem by booting from the win98 startup disk and all worked well. If I booted into win 98 command line mode or tried to run things from a win 98 msdos prompt I got the results I asked about.

again Thanks

Ed B.
