looking for dataacq.lib

I'm transfering a LabWindows/CVI development environment and application to a new computer. I installed LabWindows/CVI V8.1, the latest NI-DAQ drivers, etc. The application compiles fine except that it can't find "dataacq.h", "nidaqcns.h", and "dataacq.lib". Looking at the old system they should be in either Program Files/National Instruments/CVI81/include or .../MeasurementStudio/CVI/Include - but they aren't. Can anybody tell me what I might have forgotten to install?

These files are related to traditional NI-DAQ driver: could it be that when you installed "the latest ni-daq drivers" you have installed NI-DAQmx instead of the traditional NI-DAQ?

Or simpler you may have not checked the corresponding library in the library menu.

Yep. Installed the Legacy NI-DAQ library and there it was.
