Hello everybody,
yesterday I finished a little program about reading in the analog input port with a NI USB-6008 Multifunctional I/O Card. I made a Distribution Kit, installed it and it runs without problems BUT when I install this Distribution Kit on another PC, where never before was installed something like Labview, LabWindows/CVI or NI-DAQ then my program doesn't start. It says that the "nidaqmxbase.dll" is missing but when I copy it from my working PC to the PC I want to run my little program then it says something like a "CVI Runtime Engine Fault" and I should contact my vendor (Distribution is made with option "full run-time engine support"). I know that when I install the NI-DAQ CD with all the drivers my program then should run but is this really necessary? Installing a program that only needs 5 MB and a driver from a CD that needs about more than 200 MB? This can't be real?! o_O
Greetings
Marek S.
