not linking to ws2_32.lib?

The same "undefined symbol" link errors occur whether I include ws2_32.lib in the project build or exclude it. The subject symbols are in winsock2.h.

The project compiles without errors.

Hello MO31,

Is this thread a reply to a previous post?  If not, could you restate the question you have and the problem you are seeing since after reading the last sentence of your post, it seems like this problem is resolved.

Thanks

It compiles without errors but just will not link to ws2_32.lib.  Is it because I am using the base CVI instead of the full version?  Is the base version unable to use this library even though it is in the project?
