CVI 2009 won't autohide the project tree when you clik inside the uir edit panel.
When you click inside any of the text-based edit panels the project tree, if it's showing, will collpase (hide).

Hi Menchar,
I just tried it and have to confirm your observation. I would call it a little bug and hope that NI files a corrective action 🙂
Until then, there is a little trick to manually obtain a hidden project tree, provided that you are using several tabs... you can switch to a text tab, and then switch back to your UIR tab... this involves two mouse clicks instead of one.
Have a nice day,
Wolfgang

It is a nit but then again the next time NI takes a sweep through the code for a revision they know about it and can easily fix it I should think - it is an annoyance - I've really gotten used to the autohide.
There was another nit on the uir editor I found in 9.0 - soemthing to do with the uir panel coming to the foreground when doing somehting else, compiling I think. May be related.
