"can't find cviinet.fp" error

I'm trying to run the sample pojects "pull web server" and "web service client" of the CVI IDE package and I got the error "can't find cviinet.fp", nor I found cviinet.lib. Where is the error? How can I solve for it?

Dear Adriano,

Looks like you lack the CVI internet toolkit.
If you properly installed it you should have the cviinet.dll and cviinet.lib.
I suggest you to check if the cviinet.dll is installed in your system.
If you can't find it you should install the CVI internet toolkit. It sould be shipped with the toolkit CD in the developer suite package.

Best Regards

Adriano,

There is an update of the "Client Pull Web Server" (clntpull) CVI project example that you can get from the following link:

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/866

What is the name of the "web service client" project you mentioned, perhaps I can help with that one, too.

I used to use the "Internet Developers' Toolkit for LabWindows/CVI" about ten years ago.  It is an end-of-life product I believe, and probably no longer supported.  The NI folks can correct me if I'm wrong about that...

Adriano,

Was this the "Web service client" example you were trying to use?

"Creating a Simple Web-Service Client Using LabWindows/CVI and the Microsoft SOAP Toolkit"

If so, this one does not require the "Internet Developers' Toolkit for LabWindows/CVI" (cviinet.fp)
