I?m not sure if this is the right place to post suggestions (I suppose this could be addressed to The Measurement Studio Development Team), but I?d like to suggest a feature for some future release of CVI. This would be an ability to automatically create:
1. File headers (at least for .c files). Something similar to what has been done as part of Instrument Driver Development Wizard. File header would contain the usual info e.g. file name, description, author?s info, copyright info, modification history, etc.
2. Function headers. Function header would again contain the standard info e.g. function name, function description, parameters, returns, etc.
It would be nice if this feature could be utilized both from CVI and from TestStand (when
TS is creating files/functions through the Specify Module Dialog Box).
