real time target PC hang

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I am trying to setup a desktop PC as an RT for Labview 8.6.1. I have created the USB boot drive and formatted the hdd as FAT32. The USB boot drive was created with Labview Utility version 8.6. The USB installed the Labview RT Boot Loader and the RT Target PC detected the NIC. However when booting up, the computer just hang after that and I couldnt do anything else like change IP Address or install the RT OS.

The RT PC is a Dell Precision T3400 with Intel Pro 1000GT NIC. The host PC's firewall has been disabled, both it and the RT Target is connected to a Belkin router. Also I dont know if I need to use a switch or hub for the host PC to detect the RT Target?. I have attached a screenshot here. Any help is greatly appreaciated.

Thank you,

Max

I have solved the problem. It was because of the Flash card reader. I unplugged it and the machine can now be detected in MAX.
