rs485 manchester encoding

I currently have a PCI RS485 I/4 card.  Can i use it to do manchester encoding using CVI?  If so, how?

Else,
Is there any hardware that does manchester?

Hi Gary,

I am not really familiar with Manchester encoding, but what kind of speed will you need. The PCI 485/4 only goes up to 460kb/s, so you might consider a  High speed Digital I/O  board if you need something faster. Thanks.

Boards built around the 16550 UART are not going to support manchester encoding.  There are cards from other vendors that will.  I know cards built around the Hitachi HD64572 would support manchester.  They will not be as easy to use as the NI cards from CVI, but it can be done.
