usb activex for cvi 6.0

Hi,
I am looking for an usb activex for labwindows cvi 6.0 in order to establish a communication between my pc and a special embedded module equipped with a philips usb controller. So I will be very interrested in having some information about the cvi abilities for usb communication.

Hello

CVI does not have any built in drivers for usb. Here is a KB that talks about that.

But CVI 6.0 does support activex and some device manufactureres provide an activex interface to their devices ( like a usb camera) that you can use to talk to it via usb. So you can use the ActiveX controller Wizard to generate a CVI wrapper for you to use. So if you can find something like that for you device, you should be all set.
