I am trying to install the software for my National Instruments GPIB-USB-HS. My kernel is 2.6.24-26-generic.
I downloaded ni4882-2.5.4b1-release.tar.gz I then extracted the files and ran the INSTALL as SU.
Sudo ./INSTALL
Answered the question it ran and said it was successful.
According to the users Manuel it should have made this Dir. /usr/local/natinst/ni4882/bin/gpibexplorer
But it made this /usr/local/natinst/share/etc/share.dir
The file share.dir reads /usr/local/natinst/share.
Any Ideas?
