The first thing I am going to suggest to do is to check which firmware that the FP-1600 is using. If you see anything else than the current version (0300 2/16/01), you will need to upgrade the firmware. Next, check to see if you have any bent pins on the FP-1600 or the I/O module. On the I/O module, you should see two pins that stick out further, one pin is the power and other is the ground. After you have done a visual inspection, attach only one terminal base with and I/O module. If the power light does not come on, replace the I/O module with another, and do the same for the terminal base if the above does not work.
