800+ registers acquisition through Lookout

I have a Control Microsystems PLC measuring a temperature every 5 min for 3 days. I wish to acquire the list from the PLC, which represents around 800 registers(address 42000 to 42800+), with Lookout. Is there a way to transfer that list in Excel without having to type all 800 tags in Lookout's Database? Thank you very much!

Danny,

if you are talking about creating Aliases or configuring each register in a "spreadsheet-type" file (e.g. alarm settings, deviation, alias name, description, logging...) - you can do that.

Lookout's datamember configuration window has the functionality of exporting and importing the configuration of the object to a spreadsheet file. Once you export it you can modify it and reimport the whole configuration.

Lookout's Online help would explain exactly how to do it. See Chapter: Create Lookout Processes > Import and Export Datamember Configuration.
