Using Lookout with Wonderware's Scadalarm to do alarm dial outs

I am trying to get Lookout to work with Wonderware's Scadalarm. This is an alarm call out software package that can notifiy personnel via voice call out, pager or email. It works via the DDE channel, but I can't seem to get it to work. I was wondering if anyone as any experience with software

I'm not familiar with the WW Scadalarm. So I can't answer that question.

What I can tell you is, Lookout has built in functionality to do Pager and E-mail notification without any third party software.

I'm also looking for a way to get Lookout to do voice. The two options I've come up with is a Zetron Dialer using a simple NI DI/O board or using Win 911.

Yes, been using it with Lookout since Georgetown days when Scadalarm was owned by LiquidSolutions. Sorry they lft.

You must have the latest update from WW. Use an alarm for you trigger i.e.; if the alarm is Alarm1 use Alarm1.active

Make sure the Application is Lookout and the Topic is your Process.

I have tried that and still can't get it to work. I the scadalarm status screen it shows that the connection with lookout is dead. Do I have to do something in lookout to turn this feature on.
