Can I communicate with aTelemechanique Tsx17 through the programmer port?

I am deploying a Lookout system to monitor the production records of various PLC controlled machines. One of these is a Telemechanique TSX-17-20 micro. I dont think it is capable of Tiway networking, but it does have a com port on the front for the programmer. Dont need high speed communication, 422/485 would be fine. Can't seem to find any info. on this.Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you know how to get that information? I mean ASCII capabilities, what protocol, what functions, etc.

If so, you can use an ASCII object by implementing those functions for this PLC. It requires a bit of programming.

I didnt see a driver for this type of PLC. I am pretty sure I could use 422/485. The info I have on the 17 is incomplete, but it mentions a text function for the 27 and 47 models.
