Can Lookout Communicate with a PLC5/30 thru an RS 232 port?

I am trying to communcate with a Allen Bradley PLC5/30 using Lookout.  The setup uses two wires and a ground.  The software is setup with KF3/K3 Setting.  The error I getting is recieving 9bytes vs 2bytes.

Is the PLC5/30 setup as an RS 232 or a RS 485 port?

Do you use a KF3 Module? You need to use RS-232C cable to connect pc to KF3, and a DH-485 cable to connect KF3 to PLC.

You can also use serieal direct connection to the PLC programming port.

Both of these 2 ways use "KE/KF/Serial" as Interface.

I don't understand what's the meaning of "recieving 9bytes vs 2bytes".  Any error messages in Lookout?
