Can you take a factory alarm and turn it into an event?

I think you need to be a bit more specific, are you talking about an Alarm thats in a building that makes a noise or an alarm in lookout ?

I have a "No Communication from Mod Bus Secondary" alarm that I would like to make an event in the log.  If I can't do this, can I make this a lower priority?

You can use Event object to programmatically log a event when the alarm occurs. For Event object's configuration,

Trigger = $Alarm.update and $Alarm.message="No communication response from Modbus secondary"

But the alarm still exists. Its priority can't be changed.
