Why some 'Remote Position = boxes are yellow and some are green

I am revising an old Lookout program to operate on a Cleint/Server setup. I'm using existing pots to control timer presets in a PLC. I use a symbolic link to connect to the server process. The box where the sybolic link is placed (Remote Position 😃 in some of the potentiometers is green while other potentimeters the bow is highlighted in yellow (both pathed with the same symbolic link). The pots with the boxes highlighted yellow do not seem to be connecting to the server process. (the system is not live and connected in the field as I'm programming in my office)

Thanks

What's your Lookout version?
Give a screenshot of the yellow "Remote=", since all are green in my process.

Attached are 2 screen shots, 1 with the path box in green (connected) and the other box in yellow. The path to the server process is the same in each, other than the point itself (all points are within the same group of registers) Lookout version is 6.1

Replace the non-working pots (Lookout 3 or older) with the newer version

Good luck

Yes I tried making new pots and it worked, thanks, I would have never figured it out. Why some of the old ones worked and others didn't I'll never know.

I found as well as pots (from Lookout version 3 or older) I couldn't use the old switches as well. I deleted all my switches, made new ones and they work now
