Communication with Kingfisher

Dear All,

I want to communicate with kingfisher RTU(www.rtunet.com) this RTU uses Modbus protocol  integrated with Citec and I have to change the HMI to Lookout ,  could you please help me.

Lookout has Modbus driver to help you. If you don't have much experience with Lookout or the Modbus driver, you can first have a look at this article. http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3381

It won't be difficult to make the connection from Lookout to the RTU through Modbus.

But what's the Citec you said?

Citect is another SCADA HMI.  Do you really not know?  Thats scary if you dont, they are becoming a huge competitor.

Lookout is still the easist to use, compared to Citect and Iconics. 🙂 Citect is modular and has a few more features.

If we could get VBA or some other scripting abilities that would be good 😛
