Converting to Lookout 6 from GE Fanuc iFix 3.5

As far as iFix or Plantscape are concerned, I can recommend some pretty good developers around here.  They're in S. Texas, but they travel everywhere.  They'll do Lookout also, if you twist their arm enough (they don't like it much).

Good day.

I am running Lookout 6.01 and have hit a snag when importing FIX DMACS members in from Excel.  Specifically, the format of the FIX driver is different than the format of the MODBUS MOSCAD driver already in lookout.  What I am trying to find out is what the format of the Lookout MOSCAD driver is as well as the format of the FIX driver.

Here is an example of the FIX member I am trying to import  VI:15:3:0. This is what I am trying to decode so I can write it into Lookout.  I believe "VI" stands for Analog In.

Here is an example of the Lookout MOSCAD member I already have in Lookout: AI0r0c0.  I am assuming "AI" stands for analog input, the first 0 is the member number, r stands for row, and c for column.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I only saw this posting recently.

I was the "regional sales guy" in the story.  To clarify - Of course I had "seen" Lookout before.  During the <1yr I had been in the field, there were many National Instruments products that I had not yet used or sold yet (Have you seen how many NI products there are!).  My only point to SDerrington at the time was that with very little experience with the product, I could have a fairly complex Lookout server/client system up and running in the demo (I used a Modbus simulator as my hardware).  I guess I'll have to work on my communication Smiley Tongue.  I can understand his concerns.  NI continues to maintain and develop Lookout, and I remain impressed with what Lookout can do with such ease.
