Could not start user manager

I have read your knowledge base but am still confused.  I get the could not start user manger error message.  I have administrator rights to my PC (XP Pro) and am logged in under my user name to my plant domain in the group "Administrators" and it says "Administrator" in the lower left side of the lookout screen, next to the date.  I have the Lookout 6.0.1 Full Development and runtime 50 io software.  Any ideas of what I need to do?  This is a fresh install of XP with only Office installed, along with Lookout and the Compact Fieldpoint software.

If you are sure that you are the Administrator of Windows, follow the kb below.

Hope this helps.

btw, Lookout 6.0.1 has some bugs, which have been solved in Lookout 6.0.2. If you don't mind, you can download the 6.0.2 and its update for free here

I am still lost.  I tried it on another system that I am positive I am logged on as administrator and still get the same message.  I looked at you knowledge base that you linked to, but most of it talks about Labview and not Lookout.  I did look in the registry.  Under Logos, CurrentVersion, it shows Product Name as NI Logos 4.6.0, Version 4.6.0 and Version String 4.6.0.  Do I have to change this to something else?

I also searched the drive for "logos" and It found a Logos and Logos100 folder along with a few other things.  In the Logos folder their is a usrmgr executable that I tried to launch.  It launches a User Account Manager input box asking for user name, password and domain.  Since I have not set up any accounts yet, I am not sure what to do at this box, if anything?    Or, from your knowledge base    "Another method to try is to copy usrmgr.exe and place it in the appropriate location. Since User Manager is nothing but an executable, the easiest thing to do in the case of DSC is to copy the User Manager executable and place it in the location prompted by the DSC error (in the error listed above this location is C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1)."   Is there somewhere in Lookout that I should copy this executable to?

Finally, is it possible that I did not install something that I need?

Well I updated Lookout to v 6.0.2 and now it works.  I don't know what the issue was and I guess I never will.

Thanks for the help
