My client has version 6.1 running on laptop with window xp. This problem is unique to his PC. I too have a laptop with window xp, but the application does not crash on my machine.
The application involves 2 Lookout .L4P process files. The first process file launches just fine; it has a loader object in it that launches the 2nd process file (which has the direct logic communications driver object in it. It too launches just fine--but as soon as you perform any acitvity such as putting Lookout into edit mode, or clicking on a pushbutton object, etc. the Lookout program locks up.

I want to confirm that the process is loaded correctly on client laptop, right?
If you don't touch anything, will it run without problem? As soon as you touch anything, it freezes?
I don't see this problem on my computer. At least it runs fine without hang or crash.
Can you also upload the other process? I only see 1 process, but you said there are two.
I see the source file version is 6.0.1, but not 6.1. What's the actual version on your laptop and client's laptop? If it is 6.0.1, I suggest you to upgrade to 6.0.2 first.

We just purcahsed some new Dell Precision PWS690 with Intel Xeon CPU E5345 @ 2.33Ghz with 3.25 Gb of RAM running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2.
After installing Lookout 6.1 and trying to open up my server file that uses the direct logic drivers, Lookout is hanging up with the follwoing error data from event viewer:

This problem is specific to this computer because I can open this server file on our older computers and my laptop. Also, we bought 4 of these computers and when I tried to open this file on these other computers I had the same problem.

I did apply the lkworks.dll file you gave me and the lookout.exe file you gave me as well.
It is hanging when loading the .l4p.
I tried to compile it to see if it would load and it appears to compile fine but when I get the "loading" dialogue box, Lookout just stays there and hangs.
It is a 32bit computer and 32 bit XP.
