How can I copy object without it being linked to original?

Solved!

When I copy a pushbutton in Lookout 5.1 it is linked to the original.  If I change the name of the newly pasted pushbutton (or any other property) it changes both it and the original object.

How can I create a pasted object that has the same properties as the original without the 2 being linked?  Or how do I break the link?

If you select a displayed object then do a copy & paste (ctrl+c ctrl+v, copy & paste in the edit pulldown, or hold down the shift key & drag) you make a copy of the original object.  If you want a new object created, select the displayed object and press ctrl (not shift) & drag.  Or use object explorer where ctrl+c ctrl+v or the right click popup menu create new objects, but no display.
